35mm Film

Film is not a replacement for digital photography it tells a completely different story. It's raw and ethereal; each grain preserves a memory that feels tangible and timeless. Analogue photography is the bedrock of my brand, it's the entire reason I became a photographer.

My darling Mum taught me to use a film camera at a small age, she was passionate about photojournalism and art. She romanticised our simple everyday life, capturing my entire childhood on film, our ceilings were full of photos, she scrap booked every family holiday, putting memories on our fridge; she was never without a camera in her hand.

She not only passed this love for preserving memories onto me but also her cameras. The film cameras I bring to weddings are both heirlooms from my Mum and Nan.

They captured my childhood.

When capturing your wedding on film I am looking to tell the story through the nostalgia and spontaneity of the grain. This is’nt just about an aesthetic it’s about preserving honest memories for you to treasure for years to come.
